Ebony S. Vinson, PhD
Dr. Ebony S. Vinson received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida A&M University and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kentucky. To bolster her experience with interventions that could benefit mental and physical health, she completed a Clinical Health Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Vinson is licensed as a clinical psychologist in Florida and Virginia with experience in a wide range of clinical settings including university counseling centers, community mental health clinics, women’s federal prisons, an academic health center, a VA outpatient clinic, and a group practice co-located in a large Ob-Gyn clinic.
Throughout her training and career, Dr. Vinson has attained a vast experience focused on women and their unique mental health concerns and stressors. While working in a women’s federal prison, she gained experience with a diverse population primarily focused on trauma related stress and interpersonal concerns. During her postdoctoral training, Dr. Vinson was active in supporting women in making behavioral health changes with managing obesity and heart disease. After becoming a mother and researching the specific needs of the perinatal population, Dr. Vinson then integrated her interests in health psychology and women’s mental health through working in a group practice within a large Ob-Gyn clinic to focus on supporting women in one of the most challenging times of their lives. The experience of working with pregnant women, new mothers, loss and fertility concerns, and women adjusting to an empty nest established Dr. Vinson’s commitment to women’s health.

Howard J. Lloyd, PhD
Dr. Howard J. Lloyd is a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida and Virginia. Dr. Lloyd completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland. He went on to pursue Education Specialists degree and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kentucky. Throughout his career, Dr. Lloyd has worked in a variety of settings including the department of veterans affairs (VA), university counseling centers, substance use rehabilitation centers, community mental health clinics, and in consultation with private and public organizations. Dr. Lloyd provides individual, group, couples therapy, multicultural consultation and psychoeducation.
Dr. Lloyd practices culturally responsive psychological treatment and integrates who you are into the framework of mental health and well-being. He respects who you are and understands that different identities (race, orientation, gender, religion, etc) may make the world around you more challenging to navigate. Dr. Lloyd works with all individuals and has specialized training in issues related to men, masculinity, and military veterans. He combines clinical experiences and real-world knowledge to effectively treat individuals presenting with a wide range of presenting concerns including (but not limited to) mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment to fatherhood, issues of identity and culture, stress management, and relationships.
Dr. Lloyd is well versed in a variety of therapeutic treatment approaches. He meets each individual where they are and discusses which interventions may be most helpful.
Practice Areas: Dr. Lloyd has connected with a wide array of clients from an immense variety of backgrounds. The variety of clients has honed Dr. Lloyd’s ability to provide a comforting, non-judgmental space for all of his clients.
